How to hide photos on iPhone without the Hidden album

The Photos app's Hidden album keeps pictures out of your library, but anyone who knows your iPhone passcode can open it, and it's one tap away in Albums. SwiftLocker keeps photos and videos behind a PIN of their own, separate from your passcode.

Move your photos into SwiftLocker

  1. Open SwiftLocker and choose a PIN. You can add Face ID or Touch ID next, or later in Settings › Security.
  2. Tap + › Add from Photos, and pick the photos and videos to hide. SwiftLocker keeps its own copies.
  3. To remove the originals as you go, turn on Settings › Ask to remove originals from Photos (it needs full access to Photos). SwiftLocker then moves the originals to Recently Deleted.
  4. In Photos, open Albums › Recently Deleted, tap Select, then Delete All, so they're gone from your iPhone's library too.
